Haridwar: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the government of Uttarakhand decided to transfer eight IPS officers. Amongst them, there are some officers that belong to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) level.
According to the order, Nilesh Anand Bharne Inspector General of Police, Kumaon Region, has been appointed Inspector General of Police P&M. DIG Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat has been posted as the DIG of Police, Kumaon.
Dilip Singh Kunwar, who was previously posted as Dehradun’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and Deputy Inspector General of Police, will assume his duties as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, and the command of Dehradun district has been handed over to Ajay Singh.
SSP Nainital Pankaj Bhatt has been appointed the commander of 46th Corps Provincial Armed Constabulary in Rudrapur. The designation of the new SSP of Haridwar has been assigned to Pramendra Doval. Rekha Yadav has been appointed the SP of Chamoli and Prahlad Narayan Meena has been posted as the SSP of Nainital district.
