6 IAS officers assigned new roles in Uttarakhand, CM’s Secy IAS Meenakshi Sundaram given addl charge of UIIDB Managing Director

Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has announced the transfer and reassignment of 6 IAS officers. Following are the new appointments:

• 2001-batch IAS Meenakshi Sundaram, currently serving as Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Managing Director at the Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board (UIIDB).
•  IAS officer Vinod Kumar Suman, from the 2007 batch, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. He was previously in charge of Secretariat Administration, General Administration, and Protocol.
• IAS officer Deependra Chaudhary has been assigned the additional charge of Secretariat Administration, General Administration, and Protocol, replacing VK Suman. The 2007-batch officer will also continue with his roles as Secretary, Military Welfare, and Secretary, Agriculture and Farmer Welfare.
• 2013 batch IAS officer Vineet Kumar, currently serving as Additional Secretary of Public Works, and Forestry Planning, will take on additional responsibilities, including ITDA and Director USAC, relieving IAS Nitika Khandelwal due to maternity leave.
• IAS officer Ranveer Singh Chauhan of the 2009 batch, previously serving as the Director of Horticulture, is now posted as Additional Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Drinking Water, and Project Director, Namami Gange.
• Labour Commissioner IAS officer Deepti Singh has been assigned the additional responsibility of Director, Horticulture, alongside her current role.
