Hyderabad: In a recent administrative overhaul, the Telangana state government has transferred 10 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to various key positions. Following are the names of the officers and their designation:
- IAS E. Naveen Nicolas, a 2018 batch officer, has been posted as the Secretary at the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). Nicolas previously served as Joint Collector in the Tribal Welfare Department.
- IAS B. Bala Maya Devi, from the 2005 batch, now holds the position of Commissioner of Backward Class Welfare.
- IAS Anita Ramachandran, a 2004 batch officer, is taking over as the Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development. Ramachandran has served as Joint Collector in Anantapur District.
- IAS K. Seetha Lakshmi, a 2011 batch officer, has been appointed Secretary of both the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) and the Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutional Society (TTWREIS).
- IAS V.S.N.V. Prasad, from the 1988 batch, has been posted as the Director of Civil Supplies after his tenure as Director of Zoo Parks in Hyderabad.
- IAS A. Nirmala Kanthi Wesley, a 2016 batch officer, now serves as Director of Women Child Development and Scheduled Caste (WCD&SC).
- IAS B. Gopi, also from the 2016 batch, assumes the position of Commissioner of Fisheries, previously serving as Director of Agriculture.
- IAS Hanumantha Rao, a 2013 batch officer, will serve as the Special Commissioner of Information and Public Relations (I&Pr).
- IAS K. Ashok Reddy, from the 2014 batch, is appointed Director of Horticulture.
- IAS G. Phaneendra Reddy, a 1990 batch officer, now holds the position of Chief Rationing Officer for Hyderabad.
