New Delhi: Tech Mahindra and Pegatron have forged a strategic alliance through an MoU to collaborate on developing AI-enabled private 5G networks tailored for global enterprises. Under this partnership, Tech Mahindra will execute large-scale 5G transformations, while Pegatron will contribute its specialised private 5G product portfolio. Together, the companies aim to offer comprehensive 5G for Enterprise (5G4E) solutions, targeting global enterprises and manufacturing sectors.
This collaboration is set to streamline the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) and edge computing technologies by utilising 5G, aiming to expedite network adoption across different industries. Both organisations will work together to globally scout for opportunities where Pegatron’s connectivity solutions and Tech Mahindra’s end-to-end 5G services can be utilised to their full potential.
The partnership also aims to refine Pegatron’s product offerings based on diverse factors such as geographical, industrial, and regulatory requirements. Furthermore, it seeks to enhance digital resilience for disaster response and improve communication capabilities in disaster-prone or remote areas, utilising energy-efficient solutions like 5G Radio Access Network and satellite communication technologies.
