Lucknow: Airbus Helicopters and the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase the financing of Airbus helicopters in India. This is to spot and support potential civilian helicopter operators who are looking for financial backing in acquiring Airbus helicopters.
According to the agreement, Airbus will provide technical expertise and industrial insights, and the SIDBI will evaluate financing opportunities and offer personalised financial solutions for Airbus helicopters.
The MoU was signed by Rahul Priyadarshi, Chief General Manager at SIDBI, and Sunny Guglani, Head of Airbus Helicopters in India and South Asia. Priyadarshi said, “The MoU with SIDBI will make civil helicopters more accessible in India, aiding in nation-building efforts and market expansion.”
With this MoU, SIDBI is making its entry into the helicopter financing sector.
