Bhubaneshwar: Senior OAS officer Chitrasen Rout has been transferred by the Odisha government and assigned as additional secretary to the Chief Minister’s office.
According to a statement from the General Administration Department, Rout was moved to the CMO and is now the Additional Secretary of Works department. According to the announcement, “Chitrasen Rout, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government, Works Department is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha.”
This is the third big change in the chief minister’s office staff. Previously, the state government named senior OAS officer Trilochan Mohanty as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister. Mohanty previously served as Sub-Collector for Keonjhar, the Chief Minister’s home district.
