New Delhi: Six IAS officer trainees from the 2022 batch have been appointed as Assistant Secretaries in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.Â
These officers recently completed their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie. The officers will attend to their assigned duties from May 20, 2024, to July 12, 2024. This will help them get an insight into the governance and policy implementation that takes place within the Indian Bureaucracy.
The names of the appointees are as follows:
- IAS Sachin Sharma (Himachal Pradesh cadre): He has a degree in BE, and recently served as Assistant Commissioner to DC, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
- IAS Gaurav Kumar (Bihar cadre): Kumar has a Master’s in Geography. He recently served as Assistant Collector, Aurangabad, Bihar.
- IAS Parth Gupta (Bihar cadre): He recently served as Assistant Collector, Madhubani, Bihar, and has a degree BTech.
- IAS Rahul Anand (Uttarakhand cadre): He has a BTech degree holder, and recently finished his district training in Uttarakhand.
- IAS Sushant Padha (AGMUT cadre): Padha has a BA degree. He recently served as Attached Deputy Commissioner, GNCTD, South Delhi.
- IAS Vishal Khatri (Maharashtra cadre): He holds a BTech and a PG Diploma. Khatri recently served as a Supernumerary Assistant Collector in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra.
