Girish Venkat joins Fisdom as Head of Wealth Management Division Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Girish Venkat has been appointed as the head of the wealth management division of Fisdom, a wealth-tech startup. Venkat has worked in banking, trading, and wealth management for almost thirty years.

Fisdom claims that Venkat was the country’s pioneer in wealth management at PSU banks. Prior to this, Venkat led SBI Wealth, growing its assets under management (AUM) to Rs 30,000 crore in just six years, according to the Bengaluru-based company.

Prior to this, Venkat oversaw wealth management at ICICI Bank and Aditya Birla Capital. Fisdom’s co-founder and CEO, Subramanya SV, commented on Venkat’s hiring, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Girish to oversee our wealth management business.
