IRS Officer Nitina Nagori takes charge as Deputy Director of IN-SPACe

Ahmedabad: IRS Officer Nitina Nagori has been appointed as Deputy Director (Administration) at the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe), Department of Space. She will hold the position for five years under the Central Deputation in the Central Staffing Scheme. Her role will be based out of IN-SPACe’s head office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Nagori is an Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) Officer of the 2009 batch. Prior to this role, she served as the General Manager (Internal Audit) of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe) is a single-window, independent nodal agency functioning as an autonomous body under the Department of Space. The organization is responsible for all the space sector activities of private entities. It aims to promote and develop the Indian space ecosystem for advancing the space economy.
