Mumbai: The government of Maharashtra has announced the transfer of seven IAS officers across the state, including key appointments in various administrative roles. Notably, Saumya Chandak, a 2022-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Pune Smart City project.
Manisha Awhale, a 2019-batch IAS officer who previously served as the CEO of the Sholapur Zilla Parishad, has been transferred to Pune to take charge of the Pune Smart City project. She has handed over her current responsibilities to Kuladeep Jangam (IAS).
In other significant transfers:
- – Abhinav Goel (2015 batch) has been appointed as the District Collector in Hingoli.
- – Vinayak Mahamuni (2021 batch) has been posted as the CEO of the Nagpur Zilla Parishad.
- – Satishkumar Khadke (2014 batch) has been appointed as the CEO of the Beed Zilla Parishad.
- – Saumya Chandak (2022 batch) has been shifted as the CEO of the Nagpur Smart City project.
- – Pradip Kumar Dange (IAS) has been appointed as the Commissioner in the Department of Skill Development, Employment, and Entrepreneurship.
These reshuffles are part of the state government’s efforts to optimize the administration and ensure effective governance across various districts and key projects.
