New Delhi: Under a major administrative reshuffle, the Delhi government has transferred 36 officers of the Indian Police Service. Among the notable transfers, IPS Nabam Gunte (2003 batch) has been transferred from the post of Joint Commissioner of Police (CP) (Armed Police) to the post of Joint CP of the Special Unit for Women and Children (SPUWAC) and the Special Unit for the North-Eastern Region (SPUNER).
Other important transfers include:
IPS Veenu Bansal (2004 batch) has been appointed as the Joint CP (Security).
IPS Mahender Tiwari (2004 batch) has been assigned the role of Joint CP (Armed Police).
IPS Suman Goyal (2005 batch) has been transferred and posted from Joint CP (Rashtrapati Bhawan) to Joint CP (Headquarters).
IPS Rakesh Paweriya (2012 batch) will be the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of the Crime Branch.
IPS Guriqbal Singh (2012 batch) has been reassigned from DCP Rohini to DCP of the Economic Offences Wing.
IPS Bhisham Singh (2012 batch) and IPS Vikram Singh (2014 batch) have been transferred to the DCP (Crime Branch) position.
IPS Amit Goyal (2014 batch) previously DCP, Crime Branch has been now appointed as the DCP of Rohini District.
IPS Neha Yadav (2015 batch) has been appointed as the Additional DCP of Rohini District.
IPS Sumit Kumar Jha (2017 batch) has been given the role of Additional DCP of the New Delhi District.
