New Delhi: Tarun Bajaj has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Northern Region Transmission System-I (NR-I) at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).
Bajaj has extensive experience of more than three decades in the power sector and is a recognized technical expert. Before taking charge of this new role, he served as the head of Southern Region-II based in Bengaluru where he gained expertise in managing transmission systems. In his new role at PGCIL, Bajaj will oversee the construction, operation, and maintenance of all central transmission projects within the Northern Region-I.
Bajaj’s appointment as Executive Director is expected to enhance the efficiency and reliability of power transmission in the Northern Region, thereby contributing to the development of energy infrastructure in the country.
