New Delhi: Under a recent administrative reshuffle, several state governments have assigned new roles to senior officers of the Indian Administrative Services.
Among them is the senior IAS A. Anbarasu (1996 batch), belonging to the AGMUT cadre, who has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Home Department in Delhi. Additionally, he will also hold the post of Principal Secretary of the Public Works Department (PWD) and Chief Executive Officer of the Delhi Jal Board.
Apart from this, the Haryana Government has given IAS Vineet Garg (1991 batch) the additional charge of the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Excise and Taxation Department. Garg last held the post of ACS in the School Education Department.
The Himachal Pradesh Government has mandated IAS Saurabh Jassal (2018 batch) and IAS Vinay Kumar (2018 batch) to take upon additional charges. Jassal has been asked to take additional charge as the Director of the State Audit Department whereas Kumar has been appointed as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
