Bengaluru: Swiggy has announced the appointment of Kanika Tiwari as the Head of Monetization at Swiggy Instamart. An experienced professional, Tiwari brings extensive expertise in strategy, growth, and digital advertising to her new role. Prior to this, she served as Director of Strategy and Growth at Flipkart Ads, where she contributed significantly to the development of its advertising solutions and revenue streams.
Tiwari’s career journey began as an engineer at Ericsson, followed by a strategic internship at Flipkart. She later joined Rivigo, where she honed her expertise in logistics and operational efficiency. Returning to Flipkart, she took on multiple roles, advancing from Management Trainee in Brand Ad Solutions to leadership positions in strategy and monetization.
In her new role at Swiggy, Tiwari is expected to lead innovative monetization strategies for Instamart, Swiggy’s instant grocery delivery service. Her focus will likely include leveraging data-driven advertising solutions to enhance the platform’s value proposition for brands while optimizing revenue generation.
Tiwari expressed her gratitude towards Flipkart for shaping her professional journey and her excitement about contributing to Swiggy’s ambitious goals. Her appointment highlights Swiggy’s commitment to expanding its capabilities in advertising and revenue management.
Swiggy Instamart has been a key driver in the company’s growth strategy, with monetization playing an increasingly critical role in sustaining its operations and market competitiveness. With Tiwari’s leadership, Swiggy aims to strengthen its position as a leading player in the hyperlocal and digital advertising space.
Tiwari has pursued a Post-graduate Diploma (PGDM) in Marketing from the Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon. Before that, she completed her B. Tech in Electronics and Communications from the Jaypee University of Information Technology.
