Karnataka Govt. Transfers 7 IPS Officers; IPS Shantanu Sinha Made DIGP, Criminal Investigation

Bengaluru: The government of Karnataka has mandated the transfers and fresh postings of 7 officers of the Indian Police Services.

As per the official notification, IPS Shantanu Sinha (2009 batch) has been appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) of the Criminal Investigation Department.

Other transferred officers include:

• IPS G. Sangeetha (2014 batch) has taken over as Superintendent of Police (SP), Criminal Investigation Department.

• IPS Laxman Nimbargi (2014 batch) has become the SP of Vijaypura.

• IPS Chennabasavanna Langoti (2013 batch) has been appointed Director of the Karnataka Police Academy in Mysuru.

• IPS Abdul Ahad (2012 batch) has been assigned the role of Director of the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Security and Vigilance) in Bengaluru.

• IPS Pruthvik Shankar (2018 batch) has been made SP, Yadgiri.

• IPS Shivanshu Rajput (2019 batch) has taken charge as SP of the State Crime Record Bureau, Bengaluru.
