Chennai: The government of Tamil Nadu has announced the transfers and fresh postings of 6 IAS Officers across various departments.
According to the official order, IAS C Samayamoorthy (2002 batch) belonging to the Tamil Nadu cadre, has been transferred from his role as Commissioner of Tourism and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation and posted as the Secretary of the Human Resources Management Department.
The list of other transfers includes:
IAS Dr. Atul Anand (1994 batch), Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Labour, will now take charge as the Principal Secretary of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department.
IAS Satyabrata Sahoo (1997 batch), Chief Electoral Officer and Principal Secretary of the Public (Elections) Department, has been transferred and posted as the Principal Secretary of the Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Department.
IAS Shilpa Prabhakar Satish (2009 batch), presently serving as the Mission Director for the National Health Mission, has been made the Director of Tourism. In addition, she will also assume the position of Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation.
IAS Dr. M Aarthi (2012 batch ), State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, has been assigned the role of Deputy Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister. Additionally, she will also take charge as the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha.
IAS Dr. A Arun Thamburaj (2013 batch), presently serving as the Project Director of the Tamil Nadu Health System Project, has been now placed at the disposal of the National Health Mission for appointment as its Mission Director. He will also continue to hold the additional charge as Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health System Project.
