New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched the National Wi-Fi Roaming Service for its customers. Under the service, BSNL FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) connection customers will be able to connect to BSNL’s networks nationwide.
Presently, an FTTH user can only use internet services of high speed in a fixed location wherever the router is located. The introduction of the National Wifi Roaming Service will allow customers to access high-speed internet on their broadband connections anywhere in India. To use this service, customers will have to register themselves at a link provided by BSNL.
BSNL said that the newly introduced service will not affect its mobile customers. The telecom operator is yet to roll out 4G and is planning to complete the process by mid-2025.
