With over two decades of diverse experience spanning leadership roles across prominent organizations, Ranjan is set to lead BRPL into a new era of innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Over the years, Ranjan has held key positions with industry giants such as Renew Power, Reliance Power, NHPC, and Infosys. His most recent role was as a Partner at Ernst & Young – Parthenon, where he led initiatives in Energy Transition and Decarbonization. His expertise encompasses Renewable Electricity, Energy Storage, and Power Markets, making him a leading voice in the energy sector. As CEO of BRPL, Ranjan is expected to bring a fresh perspective, driving the company’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions, technological innovation, and operational excellence.
Ranjan’s academic background reflects a strong foundation for his illustrious career. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from XLRI Jamshedpur (2008) and a degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Bhopal (1998). Further enhancing his expertise, he completed a Business Excellence certification from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, and specialized certifications in Data and Decision Science Consulting from IIT Delhi. He is also a Certified Energy Manager, accredited by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
With his extensive experience and visionary approach, Ranjan’s appointment marks a pivotal moment for BRPL as it seeks to strengthen its position as a leader in India’s evolving power landscape.
