The strategic appointment underscores the company’s commitment to bolstering its security and fraud prevention capabilities in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
Sunil Seshadri brings over two decades of extensive experience in cybersecurity and information security. Prior to this role, he served as an Advisory Board Member at Acalvio Technologies, contributing to innovative solutions in the cybersecurity domain.
In his distinguished career, Sunil has held critical leadership roles at some of the world’s largest financial and technology organizations. As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Wells Fargo Bank, he was a key member of the technology leadership team and management committee. Sunil spearheaded the development and execution of robust security strategies to protect the bank’s assets, employees, and clients against emerging threats. Additionally, Sunil served as the CISO at Visa Inc., where he managed the company’s comprehensive cybersecurity framework and data protection initiatives, ensuring operational resilience and trust in the organization’s global payment network.
Apart from his corporate roles, Sunil has actively contributed to the cybersecurity industry as an advisor and board member for various organizations. His roles have included cybersecurity advisor to Discover Financial Services, board member at Obsidian Security, and advisory board member at Aqua Security.
Sunil’s appointment at HealthEquity reflects the company’s proactive approach to strengthening its cybersecurity infrastructure, safeguarding client data, and maintaining trust in its services.
