Mumbai: Under a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Maharashtra has announced the transfers of five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers.
In an unprecedented move, IAS Manish Awhale has been appointed as the first woman commissioner of Ulhasnagar. Before this, she served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pune Smart City. She is a 2019 batch officer from Washim who completed her probation in Satara. Previously, she has also served as the CEO of Solapur Zila Parishad.

IAS Anita Meshram has taken over as the Managing Director of Maharashtra State Fisheries Development Corporation, Mumbai.

IAS Pankaj Kumar, last serving as the Managing Director (MD) of Maharashtra State Fisheries Development Corporation, Mumbai, has now taken charge as the Project Director of RUSA under the Higher & Technical Education Department.

IAS Kishor Tawde, previously the MD of Maharashtra State Farming Corporation, Pune, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Fisheries, Mumbai.

IAS Nandkumar Bedse has been designated as the Managing Director of Maharashtra State Farming Corporation, Pune.
