Prayagraj: Amazon India has launched a ‘Suvidha Kiosk’ at the 2025 Mahakumbh Mela to provide essential services to millions of attendees. The kiosk allows visitors to purchase crucial items such as mobile chargers, clothing, shoes, pooja samagri, and blankets. Attendees can either pick up their orders directly from the kiosk or have them delivered within a 3-kilometer radius.
Location and Operating Hours
The Suvidha Kiosk is strategically located at Kumbh Kutir, Sector 24, Arail, Prayagraj, ensuring easy accessibility for festival-goers. The facility operates daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. until February 26, providing seamless shopping and service experiences.
Additional Services at the Suvidha Kiosk
Beyond shopping, the kiosk also facilitates returns. Customers can initiate a return through the Amazon app and drop off their products at the kiosk. Moreover, the kiosk offers essential amenities, including a resting area with chairs, drinking water, mobile charging stations, and first aid kits, catering to the needs of attendees who spend long hours at the festival grounds.

Dr. Karuna Shankar Pande, Vice President, Amazon Logistics, India, highlighted the importance of the initiative. He stated that the Mahakumbh Mela draws millions of attendees who spend most of their day at the festival grounds, often away from their accommodations. The Suvidha Kiosk provides a convenient solution for them to pick up or return their Amazon orders without hassle. This initiative reflects Amazon’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric services, even in large-scale events.
Other Initiatives by Amazon India at Mahakumbh 2025:Â
Upcycled Beds for Attendee Comfort- In addition to the Suvidha Kiosk, Amazon has introduced an initiative to upcycle its signature cardboard packaging boxes into portable beds. These beds are provided free of cost to attendees, ensuring they get comfortable rest amidst the bustling festival. Amazon has collaborated with Mahakumbh authorities to identify key locations within the festival grounds where these beds will offer much-needed comfort.
Support for Lost and Found Centers and Key Personnel- A significant portion of these upcycled beds has been allocated to the lost and found center, providing support for those in distress. Additionally, some beds have been distributed to the Kumbh Police personnel and the Kumbh hospital staff, further extending Amazon’s support to essential workers at the event.
