IAS Nisha Grewal Takes Charge as Deputy District Officer (Sadar) in Mathura

Mathura: IAS officer Nisha Grewal has been appointed as the new Deputy District Officer in Sadar Tehsil. She replaces IAS officer Rinku Rahi, who has been relieved from his post.

The appointment was made by Mathura District Magistrate CP Singh.

Change in Administration

Grewal, a 2021-batch IAS officer, was initially allotted the Bihar cadre, where she served as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Motihari for 15 months. However, she was later transferred to the Uttar Pradesh cadre by the Central Government.

She now assumes her new role in Mathura’s Sadar Tehsil, a key administrative division in the district. Originally from Haryana’s Bhiwani district, Grewal has experience handling administrative responsibilities in Bihar. Her transfer to Uttar Pradesh aligns with the government’s reshuffling of officers across cadres.
