Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Class 12 results for 2025, with an overall pass percentage of 86.50 per cent.
This marks a slight decline from last year’s 87.21 per cent but an improvement from 2023’s 83.73 per cent.
Pass Percentage and Stream-Wise Performance
This year, students in the Commerce stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 94.77 per cent, followed by Science at 89.50 per cent and Arts at 82.75 per cent.
A total of 12,92,313 students appeared for the exams, which were held from February 1 to February 15, 2025, across 1,677 centres in Bihar.
Stream-Wise Toppers
The Bihar Board has also released the names of the top-performing students in each stream:
Arts: Ankita Kumari and Shakib Shah
Science: Priya Jaisawal
Commerce: Roshani Kumari
Gender-Wise Participation
Among the registered students, 6,41,847 were girls, while 6,50,466 were boys. The BSEB Class 12 scorecards include total marks and division classifications (First, Second, or Third Division).

The Bihar Board’s results continue to reflect trends in student performance, with a minor dip in the overall pass percentage compared to last year but an increase from 2023.
The Board has yet to release additional insights into subject-wise performance or district-wise rankings.
