Bhopal: In a significant administrative move, the government of Madhya Pradesh has reshuffled multiple Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
According to the official notification, the government has granted proforma promotion to IAS Vivek Agrawal (1994 batch) in the Chief Secretary grade. IAS Rashmi Arun Shami (1994 batch) has also been promoted to the Chief Secretary grade in the state.
Besides this, the government has also assigned additional responsibilities to three senior IAS officers:
IAS Ashok Barnawal (1991 batch), Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Forest, will now also hold the post of Agriculture Production Commissioner.
IAS Sanjay Dubey (1993 batch), ACS, General Administration Department (GAD), has taken additional charge as Chairman, Employees Selection Board.
IAS E Ramesh Kumar (1999 batch), Principal Secretary (PS), Scheduled Caste Welfare, has been assigned additional responsibility as PS, Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Department.
These administrative changes reflect the government’s strategy to enhance governance and ensure efficient service delivery in the state.
