Chandigarh: As part of an ongoing administrative reshuffle in the state, the Punjab government has announced the transfers and fresh postings of two officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS), including IPS Sirivennela and IPS Harmandeep Singh Hans.
According to the official notification, IPS Sirivennela (2021 batch) has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police (SP) City of SAS Nagar. He is currently serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADCP) of Amritsar.
Besides this, IPS Harmandeep Singh Hans (2015 batch) has been made SSP SAS Nagar. Before this posting, he served as the Joint Director, Crime, Vigilance Bureau, SAS Nagar, Punjab.
This initiative is part of the Punjab government’s broader strategy to enhance law enforcement efficiency and strengthen governance throughout the state.
