Bhopal: As part of a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Madhya Pradesh has announced the transfers of nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. One of the most notable changes includes the appointment of IAS Neeraj Mandloi (1993 batch) as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
Mandloi has also been entrusted with the additional charge of the Energy Department and the Public Service Management Department. Before this, he served as ACS, Central Department.
The list of other transfers includes
- IAS Dr. Rajesh Kumar Rajoda (1990 batch) has been posted as ACS, Narmada Valley Development Corporation. He has been given various additional roles, including Deputy Chairman, Narmada Valley Development Authority; Managing Director (MD), Narmada Basin Project Company Ltd.; Co-Member, Rehabilitation (Narmada Valley Development Authority); and ACS, Water Resources Department.
- IAS M. Selvendran (2002 batch) has been appointed as Secretary, Personnel, General Administration Department. He was previously serving as secretary of the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Department.
- IAS Nishant Warwade (2003 batch) has been appointed as the Secretary of the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department. He previously served as the Commissioner of Higher Education, Bhopal. In his place, IAS Prabal Sipahi has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Higher Education.
- IAS Rakhi Sahay (2015 batch), previously MD, Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation, Indore, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).
- IAS Sanjay Dubey has been posted as ACS, Urban Development and Housing Department, with an additional charge of ACS, Science and Technology Department.Â
- IAS Sanjay Kumar Shukla has become the ACS of the General Administration Department. Along with this, he has been given additional charges as the Secretary, PWD (Public Works Department); Secretary, Legal and Vigilance Cell; Chief Secretary (Coordination); Chief Secretary, Planning, Economic and Statistics Department; and Chairman, Staff Selection Board.
- IAS DP Ahuja has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Cooperative Department, with additional charges as the Principal Secretary, Fisherman Welfare and Fisheries Development Department, and Principal Secretary, AYUSH Department.
