Chandigarh: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Punjab government has transferred three IPS officers. Accordingly, IPS Surinderjit Singh Mand has been appointed the DIG of the Prisons Department.
Other transfers include
IPS Kanwaldeep Singh has been appointed as AIG Crime, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, Chandigarh, reinforcing the state’s investigative and crime-monitoring capabilities.
IPS Parambir Singh Parmar has been posted as AIG Law and Order-II, Punjab, Chandigarh. His new role is expected to strengthen the department’s law and order apparatus.
This reshuffle is expected to improve policing efficiency in crucial departments.
