Dispur:Â The Assam government has transferred 14 IAS and state services officers across important districts and departments. A key appointment is that of IAS Aranyak Saikia, a 2020-batch IAS officer and former Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary of Assam, who has been posted as District Commissioner of Karbi Anglong.
He replaces Nirala Phangshopi, a 1995-batch Assam Civil Service officer, who has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Hill Areas Department.

Mridul Yadav, currently the DC of Cachar, has been moved to Sivasagar.
Dibakar Nath, currently the DC of Dhubri, has been transferred to Bongaigaon.
Nabadeep Pathak, currently the DC of Bongaigaon, has been moved to Dhubri.
Masanda Magdalin Pertin, currently the DC of Kokrajhar, has been posted as Joint Secretary, Finance Department.
Pankaj Chakravarty, currently the DC of Tamulpur, has been transferred to Kokrajhar.

Parag Kumar Kakaty has been appointed DC, Golaghat
