Hyderabad: The Telangana government has announced a fresh round of promotions involving senior IAS and IPS officers, aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and policing leadership across the state. Accordingly, IAS Naveen Mittal, Principal Secretary to the Energy Department, has been promoted to the role of Special Chief Secretary.
Subsequently, IAS Dana Kishore, currently Principal Secretary to Labour and Employment, has been promoted to Special Chief Secretary.
In addition to the above senior-level promotions, 14 IAS officers from the 2017 batch have been granted Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) scale while retaining the same posts. These include:

The government said the promotions are part of ongoing efforts to ensure capable leadership and effective administration across departments and districts.
