Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has carried out a major reshuffle of senior Indian Administrative Service officers, bringing changes across key departments. Accordingly, IAS Sanjeev Kumar (1998 batch) has been transferred from Principal Secretary, Forests and Environment Department, and appointed Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Home Department, relieving IAS M.K. Das.
The list of other transfers includes
IAS Arunkumar M. Solanki (1990 batch) has been transferred from Managing Director, Gujarat State Warehousing Corporation, to Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, while continuing as Managing Director of the Corporation.
IAS Dr. Anju Sharma (1991 batch) has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration Department (Personnel).
IAS Rajeev Topno (1996 batch) has been appointed Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, replacing IAS Dhananjay Dwivedi.
IAS Ramesh Chand Meena (1997 batch) has been transferred from Principal Secretary, Ports and Transport Department, to Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, replacing IAS Dr. Anju Sharma.
IAS Dhananjay Dwivedi (1998 batch) has been transferred to Principal Secretary, Panchayats, Rural Housing, and Rural Development Department, retaining charge as Commissioner of Rural Development.
IAS Mohammad Shahid (1998 batch) has been appointed Principal Secretary, Tribal Development Department, replacing IAS Shahmeena Husain.
IAS Hareet Shukla (1999 batch) has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Ports and Transport Department.
IAS Milind Shivaram Torawane (2000 batch) has been transferred from Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development to Principal Secretary, Education Department (Primary and Secondary Education), replacing IAS Mukesh Kumar.

IAS Sandeep Kumar (2002 batch) has been transferred from Secretary, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, to Secretary, Finance Department (Economic Affairs), replacing IAS Arti Kanwar.
IAS Dr. Sandhya Bhullar (2003 batch) has been repatriated and appointed Commissioner of Health (Urban), replacing IAS Harshadkumar Ratilal Patel.
IAS Rajkumar Beniwal (2004 batch) has been transferred from Gujarat Maritime Board to Managing Director, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd., Bharuch, replacing IAS Dr. T. Natarajan.
IAS Dr. Rajender Kumar (2004 batch) has been appointed Commissioner of Transport.
IAS Dr. Rahul Babulal Gupta (2004 batch) has been appointed Secretary, Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities Department, retaining additional charge of Climate Change Department.
IAS Dr. Vikrant Pandey (2005 batch) has been promoted from Secretary to the Chief Minister to Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, with additional charge of Secretary, Information and Broadcasting Department, relieving IAS Avantika Singh Aulakh.
IAS Harshadkumar Ratilal Patel (2005 batch) has been transferred from Commissioner of Health (Urban) to Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, replacing IAS Mohammad Shahid.
IAS Ajay Kumar (2006 batch), on repatriation, has been appointed Secretary to the Chief Minister with additional charge as Vice Chairman and CEO, Gujarat Maritime Board, replacing IAS Rajkumar Beniwal.
IAS Jenu Devan (2006 batch) has been transferred from Superintendent of Stamps and Inspector General of Registration to Secretary, Finance Department (Expenditure), retaining additional charge as Managing Director, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd.
IAS Dr. Kuldeep Arya (2009 batch) has been appointed Secretary, Industries and Mines Department, retaining charge as CEO, Special Project (Dholera SIR and Mandal-Bechraji SIR).
