Jaipur:In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Rajasthan government has transferred five senior IAS officers. Accordingly, IAS Siddharth Mahajan (2003 batch) has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA).
Before this, he was awaiting posting orders after returning from central deputation.
Details of other transfers are as follows:
IAS Anandhi (2007 batch), who was serving as Commissioner, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), has been transferred and appointed as Registrar of Cooperatives.
IAS Rakesh Sharma, previously Additional Commissioner, JDA, has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner and Joint Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department.
IAS Manju Rajpal, who was serving as Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Registrar of Cooperatives, has been relieved of the Cooperatives portfolio. She will now oversee Agriculture and Horticulture and has additionally been appointed as Chairman, Seed Corporation.
IAS Babulal Goyal, formerly Commissioner, Devasthan Department, has been appointed as Secretary, State Human Rights Commission, a move aimed at reinforcing the institutional framework for human rights in the state.
The reshuffle underscores the state government’s ongoing efforts to realign administrative leadership across strategic departments.
