Bengaluru, September 10 (APAC Media): The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) will inaugurate a new Technology Centre at Devanahalli, Bengaluru, on September 10, 2026, with an investment of Rs 156 crore, strengthening technology and skill support for the MSME sector.
Union Minister of State for MSME Shobha Karandlaje will inaugurate the centre in the presence of Karnataka ministers Krishna Byre Gowda and Vijayanand Kashappanavar.
Advanced Technology Support for MSMEs
Spread across 10 acres provided by the Karnataka Government, the centre includes training and production facilities, laboratories, residential accommodation, and other supporting infrastructure.
It will focus on Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) and provide MSMEs access to advanced technologies such as SMT lines, additive manufacturing, CNC 5-Axis and 3-Axis machines and EDM.
The centre will also offer testing, design assistance, prototyping, and business and technical advisory services to help enterprises improve productivity, technology adoption, and competitiveness.
Training 10,000 Trainees Annually
Located within a major industrial ecosystem comprising HAL, ISRO, Airbus, Boeing, Wipro, GE, Texas Instruments and other companies and institutions, the centre will support sectors including aerospace, defence, semiconductors and advanced electronics.
It will provide industry-grade training in embedded systems, PCB design, automation, robotics, maintenance and repair, with capacity to train 10,000 trainees annually.
