Kolkata: The West Bengal government has allocated over 200 acres of land in various industrial parks to accommodate several projects.
The West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) has allocated 0.42 acres in the Vidyasagar Industrial Park in Misnapore, 1.37 acres in the Panagarh Industrial Park and 2.77 acres in the Haringhata Industrial Park.
Additionally, 155 acres have been provided for setting up industries in Jangalsundari Karmanagari.
Another 2026.84 sq ft has been allocated in Domjur for the construction of an office for the Gems and Jewellery Park.
The Technical Education Department has been given this land for thr second phase of the Gems and Jewellery Park in Ankurhati, Howrah, for skill-building training.
Nahar Industrial Enterprises will be handed 11.35 acres of surplus land in Singur for the construction of a warehouse for Rs 500 crore.
Amazon and Flipkart warehouses are expected to be built on this land.
