Noida, Sep 5 (APAC Media): Schneider Electric has announced the promotion of Sweta Sharma as Marcom Head for Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited and India Innovation Hub Leader at Schneider Electric, marking a significant step forward in her career spanning marketing communications, brand strategy, stakeholder engagement and innovation.
In her expanded role, Sharma will be responsible for driving marketing communications, strategic communication, brand building and stakeholder engagement, while also supporting innovation-led initiatives in India.
“Taking on this expanded mandate is an opportunity to bring together communications, brand building and innovation to create greater impact for the organisation,” Sharma said, highlighting the importance of integrated communication in supporting business priorities.
Sharma brings cross-industry experience to her new assignment, having previously worked with The Timken Company, Robert Bosch Stiftung and Tata Steel. Her professional journey has covered communications, marketing, branding, stakeholder management and strategic business initiatives.
“Each of my professional experiences has helped me understand the importance of connecting people, purpose and business strategy,” she said. “I look forward to building on that experience in my new role and contributing to Schneider Electric’s growth and innovation agenda in India.”
Her appointment comes at a time when businesses are placing greater emphasis on innovation, digital transformation, sustainability and stronger stakeholder engagement. Her dual responsibility across marketing communications and the India Innovation Hub is expected to bring greater alignment between communication strategy, brand positioning and innovation initiatives.
Sharma’s diverse experience across sectors is also expected to support Schneider Electric’s efforts to strengthen its engagement with employees, customers, partners and other stakeholders.
