Noida, Sep 3 (APAC Media): Mahindra Truck and Bus on Wednesday launched the all-new BLAZO i-TRK heavy commercial vehicle, positioning it as a technology-driven solution aimed at helping transporters boost profitability, improve productivity and gain greater control over their fleets.
Billed as “Profit Ka Rocket”, the BLAZO i-TRK offers up to 10 per cent better fuel efficiency and has the potential to deliver up to Rs 15 lakh in additional profit per truck over five years, the company said.
A key highlight is Mahindra’s industry-first 48-hour Uptime Guarantee, under which eligible customers will receive Rs 10,000 per day if the vehicle is not restored to operation within the committed 48-hour period.
The truck is powered across the range by Mahindra’s 7.2-litre, 320 HP mPOWER engine, which develops 1,100 Nm of torque between 1,100 and 1,700 rpm. The powertrain incorporates technologies including TurboMAXX and OptiFuel to improve combustion efficiency and reduce parasitic power losses.
The BLAZO i-TRK also features iFuelSmart, described by the company as India’s first AI-enabled automatic drive mode in the heavy commercial vehicle segment. The system analyses road gradients, payload and driving conditions to automatically select the appropriate operating mode for fuel-efficient performance.
“India’s freight and logistics sector is entering a new phase where technology, reliability and operational efficiency will define competitive advantage. The BLAZO i-TRK reflects our focus on intelligent trucking and has the potential to increase profits by up to Rs 15 lakh per truck over five years, while also offering an industry-first uptime guarantee,†said, Vinod Sahay, President – Trucks & Buses, Executive Chairman – SML Mahindra.
The vehicle is available with iMAXX 2.0, Mahindra’s connected fleet management platform, offering features such as remote AC management, remote vehicle crank inhibit, air-filter clogging and DPF alerts, distance-to-empty monitoring, FleetSense reports and driver-performance analytics.
Mahindra is also offering customised maintenance contracts and extended warranty plans, alongside its NOW 24×7 mobile application for service requests, roadside assistance, spare-parts ordering, appointment booking and service tracking.
The company said its service network is supported by Quick Service Points located within 75 km on national highways and 50 km on state highways.
The BLAZO i-TRK is available across multiple variants and applications in three colours.
