New Delhi: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is set to showcase 100 indigenous applications at its upcoming AI Impact Summit, reinforcing its push for homegrown digital innovation under the Digital India and Make in India programmes.
The selected apps span sectors such as governance, healthcare, education, agriculture, fintech, cybersecurity, language technologies and citizen services.
Several of these solutions use artificial intelligence to address real-world challenges, improve service delivery and support better decision-making across both public and private sectors.
The summit will offer developers a national platform to demonstrate how AI-driven solutions can support inclusive growth and generate social impact.
By highlighting locally developed apps, MeitY aims to promote wider adoption of Indian digital products, reduce reliance on foreign platforms and strengthen data sovereignty.
The impact summit will also host discussions on responsible AI, data governance, trust frameworks and emerging regulatory approaches, underlining India’s expanding role in shaping global AI standards.
