New Delhi:Â The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has approved the promotion of sixteen Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to the next higher grade, marking a key career milestone for officers across multiple cadres. A notable promotion is that of IAS Shubhankar Pratyush Pathak, a 2022-batch IAS officer currently posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Uri, in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
His elevation has drawn attention due to his posting in Uri, a sensitive border subdivision. In his role, he oversees civil administration, development work, and inter-departmental coordination in a strategically important region.
