Chandigarh, May 2 (APAC Media): As part of a significant administrative reshuffle, the Punjab government has transferred 6 IAS officers. Among these, IAS Neelima has been appointed the Secretary, Home Affairs.
An officer of the 2008 batch, she was previously serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Punjab Energy Development Agency.
Other transfers include
- IAS Sakshi Sawhney (2014 batch) has been posted as Chief Administrator of the Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority (PUDA) and Director, Town & Country Planning under the Housing and Urban Development Department.Â
- IAS Sandeep Kumar (2015 batch) has been appointed Chief Administrator of the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), replacing Sawhney.Â
- IAS Abhijeet Kaplish (2015 batch), currently Director, Mines & Geology, has been given additional charge as CEO of the Punjab Energy Development Agency.Â
- IAS Manisha Rana (2019 batch) has been placed with the Transport Department and appointed Managing Director (MD) of PRTC, Patiala, replacing IAS Bikramjit Singh Shergill.Â
- IAS Latif Ahmed has been given additional charge as CEO of the Punjab Waqf Board, Chandigarh.Â
