Chandigarh, May 1 (APAC Media): The Chandigarh Administration has assigned new roles to two IAS officers. This includes IAS D. Karthikeyan, who has been entrusted with multiple responsibilities.
Karthikeyan, who joined on April 30, 2026, has been made Secretary of the Information Technology Department. In addition, he has been assigned the following responsibilities:
- Secretary, Vigilance
- Secretary, Agriculture, relieving IAS Mohamed Tanveer I
- Secretary, Architecture, relieving IAS Pradeep Kumar
- Chief Executive Officer, Chandigarh Housing Board
Subsequently, IAS Naveen, currently serving as Chief General Manager of Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation (CITCO), has been entrusted with an additional responsibility.
He will now also serve as the Managing Director of CITCO until IAS Ahed Rashid Shah assumes charge.
These appointments aim to ensure continuity of administration in key departments.
