Bengaluru, May 5 (APAC Media): The Karnataka government has transferred 4 IAS officers across the state. As per the official notification, IAS Fouzia Tarannum has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department in Bengaluru.Â
Tarannum replaced Randeep D, who was holding the position on concurrent charge.Â
The List of Other Transfers Include:Â
- IAS Mohammed Ikramulla Shariff (2016 batch), previously Joint Secretary (Budget and Resources) in the Finance Department, Bengaluru, has now been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kalaburagi in place of Fouzia Taranum.Â
- IAS Gopal Krishna B (2018 batch), who was serving as Deputy Secretary to Government-3, has been transferred as Deputy Secretary (Budget and Resources) in the Finance Department, Bengaluru.Â
- IAS Ruchi Bindal (2020 batch), earlier serving as Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat, Haveri, has been posted as Deputy Secretary to Government-3 in the Finance Department, replacing Dr Gopal Krishna B.Â
The reshuffle includes key administrative changes in the finance department and Kalaburagi district administration, aimed at balancing responsibilities across key departments.Â
