UP Govt Transfers 38 IAS Officers; IAS Sameer Verma Made Special Secretary, IT & Electronics

Lucknow, May 4 (APAC Media): In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 38 IAS officers across the state. As per the official notification, IAS Sameer Verma has been appointed the Special Secretary of the IT and Electronics Department.

He has also been made the Managing Director (MD) of UP DESCO.

Verma previously served as the Special Secretary of the Finance Department.

The list of other transfers includes

• IAS Neha Jain, previously MD of UPDESCO, has been appointed as the MD of Kanpur Electricity Supply Company (KESCO) Limited.
• IAS Nidhi Bansal has been made Director (Administration), Medical and Health Services.
• IAS Dinesh Chandra has been appointed the Special Secretary, PWD.
• IAS Praveen Mishra has become Special Secretary, Social Welfare & Secretary, UP SC-ST Commission.
• IAS Divya Mittal has been entrusted with the role of Special Secretary, Revenue Department.
• IAS Chandra Shekhar has become Special Secretary, Irrigation & Water Resources.
• IAS C. Indumati has been made Director, Women Welfare.
• IAS Vandana Verma has become Special Secretary, Sugar Industries.
• IAS Santosh Kumar Vishya has been appointed the Municipal Commissioner, Agra.
• IAS Rajendra Singh and IAS Prem Prakash Singh have been appointed the Members (Judicial) of Revenue Board.
• IAS Ankur Kaushik has been made Vice-Chairman, Kanpur Development Authority.
• IAS Avnish Saxena has become Special Secretary, Appointment & Personnel.
• IAS Harikesh Chaurasiya has been appointed Secretary, UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
• IAS Madan Singh Gabriyal has been made Special Secretary, AYUSH.
• IAS Sanya Chabbra has become Additional Commissioner, State Tax, Kanpur.
• IAS Praful Kumar Sharma appointed Chief Development Officer (CDO), Lucknow.
• IAS Anuj Singh has been made Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office.
• IAS Shiv Sahay Awasthi appointed CEO, UP State Rural Road Development Authority.
• IAS Abhinav Gopal has been posted as Vice-Chairman, Gorakhpur Development Authority.
• IAS Ajay Jain has been made Municipal Commissioner, Gorakhpur.
• IAS Alka Verma made Special Secretary (Finance) and Registrar, Firms, Chits and Societies.
• IAS Alok Prasad has been made CDO, Ghazipur.
• IAS Kumar Saurabh has become CDO, Ghaziabad.
• IAS Dayanand Prasad has been appointed CDO, Gonda.
• IAS Zuher Bin Sagir has been made Special Secretary, NRI Department.
• IAS Rinkoo Singh Rahee has been appointed as Joint Magistrate, Jalaun.

The government has also appointed new DMs for several districts.
