New Delhi, Oct 13(APAC Media): Josh Software has introduced a voice banking service to help banks integrate AI-powered voice interactions into their existing digital systems. The service targets customers in Tier II, Tier III and rural areas, with support for Indian regional languages.
The Pune-based software engineering company said on October 13, 2026, that its service combines voice AI integration with intent recognition, allowing customers to access banking services through spoken instructions in their preferred language.
The service connects voice AI technology with existing banking systems and digital channels. Josh Software will also provide the source code to banks, allowing them to customise the solution and retain ownership of the intellectual property developed for their requirements.
The company said banks can deploy the service within their own IT environments to keep data within their systems and meet applicable regulatory requirements.
Josh Software Co-Founder Gautam Rege said banks face engineering challenges when integrating voice technologies with their existing digital infrastructure. The company aims to help financial institutions simplify this process while retaining control over the technology they adopt.
The service builds on the company’s work across core banking, lending, payments and investment applications. Regional-language support could help banks extend digital services to customers who face language barriers when using conventional banking apps and online platforms.
