New Delhi: The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has approved the appointment of Rajesh Kumar Singh as Group General Manager (GGM) (Commercial & Operations) in Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR).
Singh is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer and has been appointed as the GGM on an immediate absorption basis.
Singh is currently serving as Chief Passenger Transportation Manager (CPTM) in Northern Railway. He has been cleared for the new appointment as per a proposal forwarded by Northern Railway. The approval has been granted with the direction that the officer be relieved immediately to join CONCOR
According to the order of the Railway Board, Singh is required to join CONCOR within 15 days from the date of issue of the letter. In case he is unable to do so, he has been directed to report back to the Railway Board within the same time frame.
