Odisha Govt Transfers 20 IAS Officers; IAS Usha Padhee Made Chairperson, Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation

Bhubaneswar: As part of a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Odisha government has transferred 20 IAS officers. As per the official notification, IAS Usha Padhee, currently the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Housing and Urban Development, has been given additional charge as the Chairperson of the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation.

The list of other transfers includes
  • IAS Deoranjan Kumar, DC cum ACS and Secretary, Planning & Convergence Department, will continue in additional charge as ACS, Steel & Mines Department. His previous additional charge as ACS, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, will end as IAS Arabinda Kumar Padhee assumes the role.

  • IAS Surendra Kumar has been appointed as ACS, General Administration & Public Grievance Department, while continuing in additional charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Department.

  • IAS Bishnupada Sethi, Officer on Special Duty, GA&PG, has now been posted as Chairman of Odisha Forest Development Corporation, retaining additional charge of Chief Administrator, KBK.

  • IAS Arabinda Kumar Padhee has been moved from Agriculture & Farmers Empowerment to become ACS, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, retaining charge of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri.

  • IAS Suresh Kumar Vashishth has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department.

  • IAS Shubha Sarma has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department.

  • IAS NBS Rajput has been posted as Principal Secretary, Commerce & Transport Department, retaining charge of Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC).

  • IAS Girish S.N. has been made Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, and now retains additional charge of Chairman, Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC).

  • IAS Mrinalini Darswal has been made Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Women & Child Development Department.

  • IAS Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav has been transferred from Sports & Youth Services and posted as Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, retaining Sports & Youth Services charge.

  • IAS Rashmita Panda has been appointed as Vice Chairperson, Bhubaneswar Development Authority, while retaining MD, Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd., and Special Secretary, Housing & Urban Development.

  • IAS Sadique Alam has taken charge as Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Public Enterprises Department, retaining charge of MD, Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), Bhubaneswar.

  • IAS Mansi Nimbhal has been made Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Mission Shakti, taking over from IAS Girish S.N.

  • IAS Prem Chandra Chaudhary has been appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department.

  • IAS Anupam Saha continues as Additional Secretary to CM, with additional charge as MD, Odisha Bridge & Construction Corporation (OBCC) Ltd.

  • IAS Sangram Keshari Mohapatra will retain additional charge as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Northern Division), Sambalpur, and Chairman (I/C), Western Odisha Development Council (WODC).
