New Delhi : Jindal Stainless has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with XLRI – Xavier School of Management to launch a structured HR Competency Development Programme.
The program aims at strengthening strategic leadership within its human resources function.
The nine-month programme will be conducted for 25 HR professionals from the company’s corporate office and various plant locations. It will combine both virtual and in-person learning sessions to build advanced capabilities within the HR team.
Programme structure and learning modules
The curriculum has been designed around eight core competencies that are considered essential for modern HR leadership. These include business acumen, stakeholder management, culture building, strategic thinking, data analytics, design thinking, problem-solving and critical thinking, and change management.
The programme will consist of 19 interactive sessions of three hours each, along with five in-person lessons. Participants will also undertake internal implementation projects to ensure that the concepts learned during the programme are applied in real workplace scenarios.
Focus on talent development and strategic HR
Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal stated that the initiative reflects the company’s focus on strengthening its workforce and developing leadership capabilities. He noted that strong people-focused policies and processes are essential for organisational growth and that the collaboration with XLRI is aimed at equipping teams with strategic skills needed to drive innovation and support the company’s next phase of expansion.
