Chennai, May 17 (APAC Media): In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government has transferred 5 IAS officers. IAS Pradeep Yadav (1992 batch) has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Information Technology and Digital Services Department.Â
Yadav previously served as Secretary to the then Deputy Chief Minister of the state.Â
Other Key IAS transfers are listed below:Â
- IAS T. N. Venkatesh (2001 batch), currently serving as Principal Secretary and Vice Chairman and CEO of the Tamil Nadu Maritime Board, has been appointed as Principal Secretary of the Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles and Khadi Department.
- IAS P. Shankar (2006 batch), formerly Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been appointed as Agricultural Production Commissioner and Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department.Â
- IAS G. Latha (2007 batch), who was serving as Commissioner of the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute, has been appointed as Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
- IAS B. Gayathri Krishnan (2013 batch) has been posted as Director (Social Security Schemes) in the Office of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management.
- IAS Deepak Jacob (2014 batch), who was serving as Director of Survey and Settlement, has been deputed to GUIDANCE for appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance and ensuring effective administrative leadership across various sectors in the state.Â
