New Delhi, June 9(CXO Media): Aparajita Puri has been appointed Managing Director, Strategic Pursuits Team for India and South Asia at Microsoft. In this role, she will lead strategic enterprise engagements across the region with a focus on business transformation and large-scale technology adoption.
Career at McKinsey
Before joining Microsoft, she spent over 11 years at McKinsey & Company. She rose from Junior Associate to Partner and worked on assignments related to business strategy, operational improvement, and digital transformation across industries. Her work involved advising enterprises on growth and restructuring initiatives.
Early professional experience
Earlier in her career, she gained experience in investment banking and mergers and acquisitions through a summer internship at Deutsche Bank. She also started her career as an Analyst at Bain & Company, building early exposure in consulting and strategy roles.
Role focus at Microsoft
At Microsoft, she will focus on leading strategic pursuits across India and South Asia, working closely with enterprise clients on technology-led transformation programs and growth initiatives. The appointment comes as the company continues to strengthen its enterprise business presence in the region.
