New Delhi, June 24(APAC Media): Quick Heal Technologies has secured a new patent in India and the United States for a cybersecurity technology focused on network access control in zero-trust environments.
The patent, granted by the Indian Intellectual Property Office as IN590849 B1 and in the US as Patent No. 12095730, covers a system that evaluates access requests using multiple layers of network policies before allowing users to reach digital resources.
The technology is designed to strengthen security controls across cloud, on-premises and hybrid IT environments. Instead of relying on a single checkpoint, the system applies application-level policies first and then evaluates additional network and transport-layer rules to determine whether access should be granted.
According to Quick Heal, the approach enables organizations to enforce more granular access controls while reducing unnecessary exposure of critical applications and data.
The patented system operates through an intelligent gateway that analyzes access requests based on factors such as URLs, users, groups, IP addresses and ports. It also supports capabilities including load balancing, application service chaining and honeypot-based threat detection.
The latest grant takes Quick Heal’s patent portfolio to eight across key markets. The development reflects the growing focus among cybersecurity companies on zero-trust architectures as enterprises seek stronger protection against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats in distributed and cloud-based environments.
