New Delhi, July 31(APAC Media): Ranjit Satyanath has joined Vijay Sales as its Chief Information Officer (CIO), taking charge of the company’s technology and digital initiatives as the electronics retailer expands its omnichannel business across India.
In his new role, Satyanath will oversee the company’s digital transformation, enterprise technology strategy and IT operations. His appointment comes as retailers continue to invest in technology to improve customer experience, strengthen online and offline integration, and modernise business operations.
Before joining Vijay Sales, Satyanath served as Senior Vice President – IT & Digital at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), where he led technology and digital initiatives.
His career spans leadership positions across retail, banking and technology companies, including Hippo Homes, Croma (Infiniti Retail Limited), Crossword Bookstores, Shoppers Stop, ICICI Bank, Birla Technologies Ltd., Asian Sky Shop, Primetime Media Services Ltd. and Elbee Express. The experience gives him a background in enterprise IT, digital transformation and omnichannel retail operations.
