Noida, Sep 9 (APAC Media): Digital transformation solutions provider Comviva has appointed Kalyanasundaram Sivasubramaniam as Product Unit Head for its DigiTech business, the company said.
In his new role, Sivasubramaniam will lead the strategic growth and development of Comviva’s DigiTech portfolio, including its intelligent digital business platform, BlueMarble.
The appointment comes as Comviva looks to expand its platform-led business across global markets, with a particular focus on North America and Europe. Sivasubramaniam will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, expanding the company’s enterprise business and strengthening engagement with communications service providers and enterprises.
A key part of his mandate will be to advance Comviva’s platforms using Agentic AI, intelligent automation and autonomous capabilities.
The company said these technologies will help businesses move beyond conventional digital transformation and adopt more adaptive and outcome-focused operating models.
Sivasubramaniam joins Comviva from Salesforce, where he was involved in building and scaling its Agentic Partner Cloud platform and business. He brings more than 25 years of experience in technology, product engineering and platform leadership across the telecom, enterprise technology and SaaS sectors.
Earlier in his career, he held senior research and development, product and delivery roles at Nokia Siemens Networks, Redknee, Dynacommerce and Netcracker. He has worked on technology platforms, complex product initiatives and business expansion across international markets.
“DigiTech is an important pillar of our ambition to build a more agile, platform-led and AI-powered technology business,” Comviva Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Chandiramani said.
He said Sivasubramaniam’s experience in telecom, enterprise technology, emerging technologies and ecosystems would help the company expand into new markets and accelerate growth.
Sivasubramaniam said he was joining Comviva at an important stage in its growth and transformation journey.
He said the company’s digital BSS and commerce portfolio offered a strong foundation to expand AI-led capabilities and address new opportunities in telecom and enterprise markets.
Comviva said telecom operators and enterprises are increasingly adopting AI, cloud and SaaS to improve agility, automation and business performance. The company plans to strengthen its technology platforms and develop next-generation Agentic AI-powered BSS solutions, with Sivasubramaniam expected to play a key role in scaling DigiTech and BlueMarble globally.
